Gasolina RON (Research Octane Number)

Light fuel oil that is obtained by distilling petroleum and used in internal combustion engines, gasoline.

1. Gasolina RON 91:

    • Description: Gasolina RON 91 is a type of gasoline with a Research Octane Number (RON) typically ranging from 91. It is a common grade of gasoline found in many regions.
    • Properties: Gasolina RON 91 has a moderate octane rating, making it suitable for most standard gasoline engines. It provides a balance between performance and cost-effectiveness.
    • Applications: This grade of gasoline is used in everyday passenger vehicles and some light-duty vehicles.

2. Gasolina RON 92:

    • Description: Gasolina RON 92 is a type of gasoline with a Research Octane Number (RON) typically around 92. It offers slightly higher octane than RON 91 gasoline.
    • Properties: Gasolina RON 92 provides improved resistance to engine knocking or pinging compared to lower-octane fuels. It is suitable for vehicles that require a bit more octane for optimal performance.
    • Applications: Used in vehicles with higher compression ratios and performance-oriented engines, including some sports cars.

3. Gasolina RON 93:

    • Description: Gasolina RON 93 is a type of gasoline with a Research Octane Number (RON) typically around 93. It offers even higher octane than RON 92 gasoline.
    • Properties: Gasolina RON 93 is designed to provide enhanced resistance to engine knocking and may contribute to better engine performance and efficiency.
    • Applications: Commonly used in high-performance vehicles and engines that demand higher octane ratings.

4. Gasolina RON 95:

    • Description: Gasolina RON 95 is a type of gasoline with a Research Octane Number (RON) typically around 95. It represents one of the highest octane gasoline grades.
    • Properties: Gasolina RON 95 provides excellent resistance to engine knocking and is ideal for advanced, high-compression engines and vehicles requiring premium performance.
    • Applications: Used in high-end sports cars, luxury vehicles, and high-performance engines where top-tier fuel quality is essential.

Overall Classification: Gasolina RON grades refer to different octane ratings of gasoline, with higher numbers indicating a greater resistance to engine knocking. The choice of gasoline depends on the specific requirements of a vehicle’s engine and its performance characteristics.
