Baridi Group Identifies Significant Copper Deposits in Mpwapwa, Tanzania

Baridi Group Ltd has made significant strides in its Copper exploration project located in Mpwapwa, Tanzania. The company holds several promising Prospecting Licenses (PL) in this region, known for its rich copper deposits. Over the past two years, Baridi Group has conducted extensive exploration activities and sent numerous samples to international customers for beneficiation and metallurgical testing.

Initial findings from these comprehensive tests have identified the areas with the most substantial copper deposits, offering significant potential for further processing. This discovery is a critical milestone for Baridi Group as it underscores the importance of value addition within Tanzania.

Exploration and Testing
Baridi Group’s exploration efforts have been rigorous and methodical. Significant testing conducted at the Tanzanian Industrial Research and Development Organization (TIRDO) revealed copper ore quality reaching up to 46.3% Cu. Additionally, the calculated minimum average ore quality suitable for processing is between 2% and 4%. The samples sent for testing have undergone detailed analysis to determine their viability for further processing. These tests, conducted by Dr. Yotamu Hara in Zambia—an authority in copper processing—have provided crucial data that will shape the company’s future development strategies.
